A Dubbing Studio in Morocco for French Productions
Why producers, distributors and dubbing agencies have their programs dubbed into French in Casablanca: voices, studios, remote sessions and related services.
Having a program dubbed into French in Morocco is nothing exotic. Producers, distributors, platforms and dubbing agencies already do it, in Morocco and abroad. They find French voices, well-equipped studios and a simple organization.
dB PROD·FACTORY is a dubbing studio based in Casablanca since 2016. Here is what we offer French and French-language productions.
A studio focused on the French-speaking market
Today, we dub into French only. Programs come to us in English, Chinese, Spanish and other languages, and leave as French versions.
Our clients are in Morocco and several other countries. They are producers, distributors, platforms and dubbing agencies looking for a reliable partner for part of their volume.
French voices
Our pool includes more than a hundred French-speaking voice actors. For each project, we suggest voices suited to the characters. The client listens and approves before sessions begin.
Actors are guided by a voice director, who watches over performance, pacing and lip-sync. The director is the one who ensures consistency from one episode to the next.
Studios built for fiction
Since 2020, the studio has been located at 7 avenue du 2 Mars in Casablanca. It includes:
- four closed studios, acoustically treated, soundproofed and interconnected;
- a green-screen stage;
- production and dispatch servers;
- a meeting room.
Mixing is done in stereo, 5.1 or Dolby Atmos, depending on the destination. Levels comply with the EBU R128 standard.
Working remotely, in practice
Casablanca is less than a three-hour flight from Paris. The time difference is small: working days overlap almost entirely.
Above all, there’s no need to travel. Sessions can be followed remotely. The client hears takes live, gives notes and approves as recording goes along.
Beyond dubbing
A single program often needs several deliverables. We also offer:
- French voice-over for documentaries and reports;
- subtitling in French, French SDH (deaf and hard of hearing), English, and Arabic on request;
- voice solutions: IVR prompts, a voice bank and casting, and custom tools.
What distance changes, and what it doesn’t
For a production based in France or elsewhere, working with Casablanca changes little day to day. Communication happens in French. Files are exchanged online. Approvals happen during sessions, remotely.
What changes is mostly the setup at the start. Plan a first call to agree on formats, standards and schedule. Once that framework is in place, the following projects move faster, because the team already knows what you expect.
Verifiable references
Since 2016, we have delivered several hundred hours of programming, across several hundred projects, for clients in Morocco and abroad. Among them: Hiventy, TransPerfect, Content Lab, Funky Sound, Besteasy, SEYR AJANS FİLM and Hidden Truth Films LLC.
How to get started
The simplest way is to send us a clip of the program, the number of episodes or total runtime, the source languages and your target delivery date. We come back with a voice proposal and a schedule.
In short
A dubbing studio in Morocco can meet the requirements of a French production: French-speaking voices, treated studios, standards-compliant mixing and sessions followed remotely. For a producer, it’s an option worth considering for part of their volume.
